ADRIAN GARTHAUS
Adrian Garthaus brings over ten years of playing experience at the MLS NEXT, Development Academy (DA), and ECNL, along with five years of experience competing at the professional, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. Throughout his career, he has been exposed to every side of the game, including high-pressure competition, setbacks, injuries, leadership roles, and the constant demand for consistency and performance. These experiences have given him a complete understanding of the game beyond tactics and technique, as he has learned firsthand what it takes to perform under pressure, overcome adversity, and remain mentally strong through challenging moments. Adrian has faced obstacles when the odds were not in his favor, and those experiences helped shape his discipline, resilience, and professional mindset. His journey has provided him with a deep understanding of both the physical and mental demands required to succeed at higher levels of soccer, and he now uses that knowledge and experience to mentor and guide the next generation of players.
IVAN MATA
Ivan Mata has been playing soccer for over 10 years, developing his game in elite youth leagues like DA and MLS NEXT, where he learned discipline, commitment, and what it takes to compete at a high level. His journey has taken him from the Charlotte FC Academy, to the professional level with Crown Legacy FC at the MLS NEXT PRO level, and then to Division I college soccer with the UNC Charlotte 49ers. Along the way, Ivan has faced almost everything a player can experience — injuries, setbacks, limited playing time, being the star of one team and the benchwarmer on another. Instead of letting those moments define him, he used them as motivation to grow stronger mentally and physically. Through every challenge, Ivan has continued to push forward. He remains driven, focused, and committed to success, proving that resilience and belief are just as important as talent. His journey is still unfolding — and he’s determined to keep striving for greatness.
